Lee Bermejo is a writer and artist known for his dark, cinematic approach to comic storytelling. He gained widespread acclaim through his collaborations with Brian Azzarello on Joker, Luthor, Batman/Deathblow and Before Watchmen: Rorschach. For Vertigo, He created the critically acclaimed series Suiciders. Bermejo also wrote and illustrated the bestselling graphic novel Batman: Noel and co-created Batman: Damned for DC’s Black Label. His recent work includes the narrative art book Batman: Dear Detective and the creator-owned project A Vicious Circle with screenwriter Mattson Tomlin. Bermejo lives and works in Italy.
