Artist Alley Application Call

Become an Artist Alley exhibitor!

Artist Alley tables are intended for small business owners or independent individuals selling their own art or handmade creations. Spaces are limited. Participation is determined through a portfolio review, which allows us to ensure that the products are suitable for the event and that the selection is diverse and engaging. The selection panel consists of experts as well as members of the Arctic Lights Comic Con production team.

Applications for Artist Alley are accepted through a portfolio submission. Portfolios can be a website or a PDF file from a PowerPoint/Canva presentation. Social media profiles are not accepted as portfolios. Please make sure that your portfolio link works and can be viewed by anyone who has the link.

If multiple applicants are submitting together, a joint introduction and group photo can be included. However, each applicant’s own product images must be added separately and clearly labeled so the selection panel can easily identify which products belong to whom. Each applicant is allotted the same 8–12 image quota. Please use a single file or website for your portfolio – do not add extra hyperlinks.

The type of products is free. Items may include, for example, prints, stickers, books, zines, games, pins, jewelry, figures, crafts, or other creative works. The key requirement is that the items are designed and created by the applicant, though production may be outsourced to a manufacturer.

When applying for an Artist Alley spot, you may indicate preferences for table placement, for example if accessibility needs to be considered or if you wish to be placed next to a friend. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but cannot guarantee them. Requests cannot be accepted after the application period closes.

AI-generated art may not be sold at Arctic Lights Comic Con. The event reserves the right to remove any vendors from the Artist Alley who violate this rule.

Artist Alley spaces are limited. The selection is made using a panel review process, which helps ensure a diverse and engaging range of products in the sales area. The panel consists of experts as well as members of the Arctic Lights Comic Con production team.

The selection criteria are:

If a selected Artist Alley participant must cancel their participation before the event, we will attempt to select a replacement using the same panel review process.
